I had on old striped wool GAP sweater. I felted it by washing it a couple of times in very hot water and drying it on the hottest setting of the dryer. After that I cut the sleeves off and made the neck opening a little bigger. Next, I folded the sweater so that the sleeve openings were located on the front of the purse and the neck openings on the side. Then I sewed the bottom of the sweater shut. The sleeves I made into handles and flowers and put them on the purse as decoration. Very easy to make and turned out really cute.
