I finally made my husband a Negroni. However, he’s not a gin drinker, so I’ve dubbed this the Old Fashioned instead. He’s tall and slender, so I lengthened a size small 1" in the body, 5/8" in the sleeves. Also, I added a little more room to the back armscye at the shoulder, grading to nothing at the armpit.
The main fabric is the same as the pocket lining to my jeans and the contrast fabric on the inside cuff, placket and under collar is upcycled from…. a pair of boxers I bought for Ryan when we first started dating. Hehe! I loved the stripes then and now.
I used a traditional flat fell seam on the shoulders (not the method in the pattern) and a serged faux flat fell seam on the side & sleeves. The pearl snaps were an eBay purchase
