Description

I reupholstered a couch that was left in our basement from the previous owner. She had lived there since the house was built in the 70’s and I’m guessing the couch had been there that long as well. It’s an awesome couch, super comfy and it’s HUGE!

Here is the before and after :)

Wow… great job!! I want to do the same thing with my couch but I don’t know how to do this. I’m afraid to do wrong. How many yards of fabric did you used?

I used 8 yards of home deco fabric. It’s a really big couch though :) I didn’t cover each cushin, I’m guessing it would have been upwards of 12 yards if I did it that way!

Excellent ! I ‘m “revamping” our old sofa as well but can’t decide wether I should use one of these big professional staplers for the base or find another idea… Is this what you have done?

I just used a staple gun. A pretty decent one is around 30 bucks and I realized after I bought mine I used it for so many crafty things! The trick is you HAVE to make sure you staple the fabric to the wood. Good luck!
