So I wanted a pair of shorts to wear outside in the heat, taking my bubs to the zoo or to the park. And I found this basic pattern in my Burda mag.
It fits really well for a pattern that I barely altered, and went together pretty easily. I put in my first ever invisible zipper as well, which turned out well. Yay for me!

Cute as a button! I’d have never thought to add a scalloped edge to a pair of shorts!

Thank you! The scalloping turned out surprisingly easy. There are lots of good tutes around, and it really is quite easy once they’re all drafted out.

Nice color, nice material and I love the waves…if I had legs too I would make one like that!
