Black and white dress made out of a thick jersey.
Very comfy to wear.
My machine had troubles stitching this fabric so I had to sew the facing on the neckline and the hem by hand. I like how it turned out, but I still have to get used to wearing prints.
The sleeves were kept very long and a bit wide at the bottom, then I added some elastic and it became it bit of a balloon sleeve.
Thick jersey

It looks awesome!!!! And I am the same way – not only have I worn mostly solids, but for a long time they were only black and darker colours. So I can understand you!!! :-)

Thank you for your nice comment.
I always tend to buy bold and printed fabrics and when I’ve finished the garment, I’m afraid to wear it… Now I try to buy solid fabric with a subtile print sometimes and make it different by using some details as pintucks, eyelets, ribbons etc. But sometime you have to go a bit crazy!

One of the projects I am planning is going to be a dress out of bright orange fabric… We’ll see if I can actually go THAT crazy and wear it! :-)
