I fell in love with a little cropped blouse in Margaret Howells but didn’t fancy paying £300 when I could just make it myself. I also enjoy telling people that I’ve made my version from my mum’s wedding dress, which honestly she didn’t want anymore! It’s cropped, only you can’t see from the photos and the bottom is edged with lace just like the sleeves.
I used a basic pattern, but at first the blouse turned out so big that I’ve basically remade it myself. The sleeve pattern I drafted myself, which makes this project even more special for me :)
Cute white dotty fabric.
