Yay! she is finished! I’m so glad that I found a way to sort the whole thing out!. I must say these are the worse instructions I have followed (or not followed, sorry burdastyle). I thought this would be a good jacket pattern to start with since it was my first but I was wrong, Nothing seemed to make sense, lol! (and when it came to the pockets…well lets just say I had two gapping holes in the jacket for a couple of weeks!) it could be just me though…So I relied solely on The Readers Digest Complete Guide to Sewing book and my own common sense. But I like a challenge! and I love the Eva pattern so I think i’ll try this one again…..
(I added curved cuffs and curved hems at the bottom of the jacket)

Wow, Bola, that’s so nice, well done! I also really like the fabric and the buttons. I finished the shrug, but it’s (almost) never daylight here these days, and I got tired of too dark pictures… will add it though :-). Christmas holiday coming up, yey!

WOW! Well it certainly bears no signs of a struggle- it is beautifully made! I love your addition of the rounded cuffs and hem. Add a skirt or pants and you’ve got your entry in to the suit contest!

Yo! this looks so nicely fitted. You may now just have to buy the horse to complete the whole style, and … just ride on! :)

Nice jacket! Good, you made your way through the instructions. Your Eva turned out very nice!

Wow! It really turned out pretty! Sounds like another pattern with challenging instructions! I have had to make my own instructions, as I have found some to be inadequate and assuming. You did a great job and I thought the fit was really pretty good. You should be proud of this accomplishment!
