As the name, the material is embroidered chiffon…. the whole dress is lined with some kind of soft polyester (came with the set). Chose a simple pattern coz the fabric frays very easily n dint want to cut it too many times. Its an A-line dress pattern but with slits from hip down on both sides. The lining is hemmed separately from the slits, the front neck line of lining is boat shaped and it is scalloped. The front neckline of the chiffon was hard work. Had to do it thrice to get it almost right. Had to hand sew also few places. I made a cut-out of the paisley design from the lining at back, held to the lining with little bit of hand sewing. The sleeves are unlined. the leggings/chudidaar are made from the same lining material.
