Burda Style For people who sew
Description
The slight remark to Teletubbies is a direct approach to describe the this coat looks like in reality. Anyways, I am utterly in love and looking forward to the colder weather to rock it it has to be said that it does remind me of those intricate creatures who meant to entertain your children instead of freaking the hell out of them.
The pattern is easy to work with but I found it hard to do the lining. There’s no information on the pattern sheet as far as I concern regarding the lining of a coat…so I went ahead and searched it on Youtube. I finally made the lining which isn’t perfect but the slight mistake I made invisible to the naked eye :D
I didn’t use zips or pockets as I find them distracting. I was after the most minimalistic look as I don’t like complexity too much.
All and all it came out real nice and I am very proud of my now project…already purchased a couple of different fabrics to make some more so brace yourself love.

I’m just finishing the second one but the lining proves to be a bit of a pain unless you know exactly how to do it…:) hopeflly the 2nd one be better! looking forward to see yours

Thank you I love it. As we getting closer to September I think you might want to consider to use the pattern soon ;) I’m already on the second coat same pattern different fabric :D
