Description

So I’m thinking about making a Rockabilly dress in light pink and adding a rainbow bustle to the back. This is my first ever sewing attempt so it probably won’t go too well… Fingers crossed though! I’ll need a plus size pattern, so hopefully they’re about. Not sure how to alter a pattern to accommodate for a bustle though. Guess I’ll ask around! After making the dress, I’ll be adding a dark pink in rectangular bits for the pop-tart-esque decoration. With this, I’ll be wearing a grey cardigan, grey tights and obviously cat ears and a tail ;D

Material Notes

Not sure on material yet, as it’s for a Halloween costume, I probably won’t go for the expensive fabric. I’ll probably still line it though, I’ll be wearing it for a fair amount of time that night so it needs to be comfy.

Good luck with your dress, I’d love to see it later! I also dressed up as nyan cat last year, but my costume was pretty simple- a rainbow cape that I made, pink cardigan with dots, cat ears, rosy cheeks and grey jeans :)
