South West, Unit...
My little boy has started to get stuck between the cot rails and keeps bashing his little head against the sides when he is turning around. I had some of the fabric in my stash, the Nuts for Dinner (Michael Miller) fabric was meant for another project… or part of it anyway. Little boy was fascinated by the hedgehogs and kept looking at the woodland scene while he was having his good night bottle.
This website http://www.sew4home.com/projects/pillows-cushions/stylish-baby-nursery-crib-bumpers-two-cool-fabs was my inspiration, even if I simplified things a bit. I used satin ribbon instead of making my own. I also added elastic bands on both the head and the foot end so the whole thing is secured to the cot.
