That would be difficult, coz i didn’t use any pattern, only a basic bodice pattern for the bust, and the rest it’s hours of hand pleating and back pain;))

OMG! How truly amazing! You did such a fabulous and beautiful job. It’s really something to be proud of. And, how nice that you made it for your friend. If I would ever make something like that for a friend it might go missing mysteriously….. Great job! One question…. Did you use a pattern or a certain photo for inspiration?

Thank you soooooooo much! I used just a basic bodice pattern for the bust support, and the “client”(she’s more a friend) just said that she wants a long flowy not shiny dress:) and I made asketch, and we changed it a little:)

I saved this to my inspiration folder, hope you won’t mind. :) I especially love the braided waistline. The color is beautiful as well, and I love your hair! Chiffon is a true hassle to work with, but this looks lovely.

Your dress is gorgeous! And the colour is precious. I’m planning on making a chiffon dress as well, I have a question: what coefficient did you use to determine the yardage you needed? I mean, for example, if you wanted the skirt to be 90cm wide in the end, did you use twice as many fabric, three times more…? Thanks :)

Thank you:) And because chiffon is very light you have to use like four times more, so that the dress flows nicely and you dont look like you just have a sheer skirt on.:) Can’t wait to see your chiffon dress!

looks absolutely gorgeous! you did a great job. question for you, i was going to be making a tunic type of top out of a chiffon fabric but i’m not sure how to hem the raw edges, was considering a rolled hem but i’m not sure. any suggestions?

I worked very well with chiffon, I loved it! A rolled hem is perfect for a tunic, and this fabric can do almost anything:)
