I found this remnant (1.5 yards) and loved both sides of the fabric. I used everything leaving no scrap larger than 4″ × 4″. The skirt is the Melissa from Burda & I used the pillow-case technique on my serger to make it reversible. The top is a simple 2 piece tunic with cuffs added to the sleeves & the cowl neck is a separate piece that I also made reversible. This 3 piece outfit reminds me of the sets my mother used to make me as a child where you could mix & match pieces. I may end up adding a few more pieces in a deep purple jersey I have left over (I’m thinking infinity scarf, belts, leggings…) but we’ll see.
This was super easy to make, is comfy & made the most of my fabric.
