This is a redesign of my grandmother’s plaid wool suit. I forgot to take a before picture but it was a boxy jacket with straight wrist-length sleeves and a ankle-length pencil skirt. I used the bottom of the skirt to create the ruffle. I used satin blanket bias fold ribbon to finish the neckline edge, sleeves, and skirt line.
