Description

While all you in Europe and the States are making beautiful summer dresses and swimsuits, we in the southern hemisphere are sewing less exciting necessities! Today i whipped this wee number up (Burda Young Fashion 7742). i made a couple of alterations from the pattern to give a bit more interest – such as gather at neckline, and cuffs/bands on the sleeves and bottom hem instead of just turned up and sewn down.

i have some lovely houndstooth wool frabric that i plan to make into a pencil skirt which i think will go nicely with it. that will have to wait until next weekend….

Material Notes

merino wool knit

I love it! it’s so cute…I love turtlenecks that fit the body, I also love wearing them with wide belts and pencil skirts, add a cute pair of glasses and go for the sexy teacher look!
