Description

This little jacket was originally inspired by a ModCloth Vintage Mexican vest. I Frankensteined the pattern from a New Look Blouse, avoiding a collar so as to mimic the vest that inspired this piece. I did the embroideries on the breast when the jacket was sewn, but before i put the lining in. The crewel style embroidery looks really nice, and i always kick myself that i don’t do more of it on my existing clothes!!

Material Notes

Heavy crinkle cotton with a cotton voile lining.

Intermediate

It’s nice to see some real embroidery nowadays. Very nice vest. I love it!
