An edit from my smocked peplum blouse, I took the same principal of the honeycomb smocked panel to add ease through the shoulder and inserted it into a dress. I flat patterned this using a simple sloper and added some fun, easy details for some extra pizzazz. Since the fabric pattern is so busy it tones down the additions in a funny little way. Pleat detail under rump opens up the back of the dress for smooth walking and sassy dancing. Overall, super fun to make and even more fun to wear.
