After a mind-stretching, finger-boggling project, my brain just shut down and I needed my next to be terribly, terribly simple.
What could be simpler than minimal math (rectangles with cut-out corners), a few long straight seams, and some elastic casing…
…and I had biiiig projects ready to fill my room :):)
They did not actually take very little time – the seams are after all really quite long, but it was mind-numbingly therapeutic for the couple of weekends it took me.
The little girls are sooper-dooper happy. I dug into my stash and hit all the themes they’re into now – hippos mattress covers, Mr Men and planetary pillowcases.
Major stash-busting love!
Cotton, cotton and more cotton!
The red hippo one and the vegetable garden (so cute!) one are from Ikea.
