My mom made me a champagne coloured skirt in this pattern to use during my wedding dance – I liked the fit and borrowed the pattern to make an everyday wear version. The skirt of my actual wedding dress was so huge even the most co-ordinated person would have made a fool out of themselves if they tried to dance in it.
Brown linen – the brown shade isn’t that thrilling but at least the pattern cut gives a bit of interest.

I have been looking for a pattern like this for ages. I have some heringbone fabric that is crying out to be made into a fish tail skirt. Looks really good. I will be looking out for this pattern.

This is very pretty, very flattering. I’d love to make one too, what pattern was it?
