Description

This is my first attempt to draught a pattern. Though not particularly original in design it gave me a chance to create something simple from scratch. Basically a fitted bodice and A-line skirt piece. I used gold lining fabric inside which I hand stitched around the sleeve edge to get a nice finish. The bodice front has a split at the front neckline. I borrowed Angela Kane patch pockets from her pinafore pattern and stitched red piping to the upper edge.

Thanks Mary. The furniture behind the dress is a screen. You can’t really see it but you’ve noticed it before! x
