I’ve been participating in an online sewing competition. This week all 9 contestants were told to use one pattern and convert it and ‘make it your own.’ I took the Salme’s Yoke Dress, super cute sweetheart neckline, sleeveless party dress meant for wovens and turned into a long sleeved knit dress meant for daily wear and maximum comfort! I included a pic of the original pattern drawing so you can see what I started with before re-drafting. To see my process on how I did this check out my blog Kathy Sews.
