These are some little outfits I made for two boys born in January this year.
I used the same two patterns from a brilliant book called “Esprit kimono pour petits” (kimono-style garments for toddlers) : the Jun harem pants, and the Katsu t-shirt.
One of the boys lives near Paris, where the weather has been awful recently, so I made the pants with linen, and the top with some thick enough jersey (and kept the sleeves long).
The other boy is lucky enough to live in South of France, where summer gets really hot, so I used a mix of linen and Tencel for the bottom, and a light-weight cotton for the top, and made it short-sleeved.
This book,is really nice and the patterns easy to use and with a lovely result. Hope the parents like the outfits !
