Description
When Nora and Benedikta went to the Bambi Awards, we had the lucky chance to make their gowns. Here’s the regal opulence with ethnic flair we came up with for Nora. The underskirt peeks out from center front and at the hem, the embroidered detail frames the face as fit for a queen, and the curved seaming adds extra couture touch. Just in time for Prom season, we can’t wait to see your creations.

It’s so georgious!!! I ‘m very sad because I don’t have prom or formal or any occasion like this soon … I think it’s so wonderful I’ll maybe try it just to be princess at home ;) I think a long and large sarwel would be nice instead of underskirt. I think it’s the way I ’ll try it!
If I am not false Nora in arab means the light…

I especially like the back and the raglan sleeves. The technical drawing is perfectly drafted, makes me want to buy it…. Beautiful and inspiring pattern, thanks!

Isn’t this called a kaftan? Maybe I’m wrong. Anyway – it’s absolutely gorgeous. A spectacular piece of clothing!

I was looking forward to see this dress’ pattern ever since Nora’s and Benedikta’s pictures appeared on the the blog few months ago. The dress is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I love the ethno touch and the colors choice. It’s petty Nora didn’t take a pose for detailed pictures, as Harlekin said – she glows in the gown.

Very nice! I agree with SallyBC, this would also be a cute one to offer in a Plus size version.

Lovely and untraditional (in a good way!) for formal wear. I especially like the saffron color of the main part of the dress! I feel like you could make a less formal version by making it shorter and using a less fancy fabric and a less ornate ribbon. Hmm…
