Nooj jeans

Added Nov 10, 2012

Melbourne, Austr...

I made these jeans for my youngest son who we have nicknamed “nooj”.
They sort of morphed into what they are. I wanted to learn how to embroider so I embroidered on some denim which I had. I used a fun embroidery pattern from the Sublime Stitching craft pad
I decided to make them into back pockets for a pair of jeans. I used a pattern from tie dye diva.
I added some striped bias binding to the pockets for a bit of colour and top stitched in red and green.
Nooj loves them and I have to tell him that they are in the wash so he will wear something else!
These shots are from our trip to St Kilda Beach.

Material Notes

Thank you. I’d like to say they look like me but they are mini me’s of their daddy.
