Description

A pieced, lined, full circle wrap-around skirt made from two sarongs bought in the sales for just a euro each.

The sarongs are the same design in different colours but with several colours in common so hopefully the pieces are complimentary and not clashing. The garishness of the outerskirt is somewhat muted by the charcoal grey lining. I hemmed the outer skirt and lining by hand (strangely calming!) and left the outer layer a little longer than the lining for a more floaty effect.

    I love the idea of wearing it in the fall with tall boots! …Do you by chance have a tutorial for this skirt??

      I have just added a tutorial for this project but there is no “Make it banner” as I added the instructions afterwards…I am a bit sad about that! The instructions are a bit long winded but I hope they make sense! UPDATE!! I just got my banner, I should have waited before whinging!!
