Description

I love this dress. Felt my closet could use some punching up, so I draped this dress in muslin first, using it as my pattern. I used darts and gathering to create this silhouette. it is a tea length and sheath-y.

Material Notes

I used a poplin fabric

Thank you. I love the fabric too. The vertical stripes gives a nice, slimming effect. Thank goodness for darts. I’m one of those larger at the top, no hip shapes that can be so tough to fit.

Thank you. I really wanted to keep it simple with one color of fabric and stripes. The horizontal striped belt. I’m very happy with the result.

Vielen Dank. Ich wollte den Hals nahe an den Schultern, aber nicht das Problem der Abrutschen. Ich mag das Ergebnis.
