I love this dress. Felt my closet could use some punching up, so I draped this dress in muslin first, using it as my pattern. I used darts and gathering to create this silhouette. it is a tea length and sheath-y.

Thank you. I love the fabric too. The vertical stripes gives a nice, slimming effect. Thank goodness for darts. I’m one of those larger at the top, no hip shapes that can be so tough to fit.

Thank you. I really wanted to keep it simple with one color of fabric and stripes. The horizontal striped belt. I’m very happy with the result.
