I saw this on the HonestlyWTF blog and just had to make one. It’s based off of Rike Feurstein. Mine turned out ok. I didn’t have the correct chairs so it made it hard to wrap it tight around them to have them twist properly. I used more than 1 skein of yarn and made my faux black leather wraps 5.5" in length and added a brown faux leather strap weaved through the middle to give it a cooler look and look more like the original one. I wore it out and it was warm but not too warm. I just twisted it a couple times through out the day and it was fine.
Soft blueish hue yarn (not sure the weight my mom-in-law gave it to me), faux black and brown leather scraps, gorilla glue (tried another kind of glue but didnt really work), and scissors.
