Milwaukee, Wisco...

I love making stuffed animals and little animal heads. After you make a few you become familiar with the basic 3-D pattern shapes and can draft your own animals pretty easily. This is one of the first patterns that I drafted to make a squirrel.

Material Notes

plaid wool, felt, polyester fiberfil

Fall, Winter

    Thanks for the comments!

I usually give them away because I don’t want to be the 24 year old with a stuffed animal net above my bed. I have kept a few of my favorites.

I think making little creatures is really fun and therapeutic!

Very cute.. Do you keep them or give them away? I’ve been thinking of doing a bit more of other sewing than just clothes and bags. I made a owl once, which didnt turn out right :(
