A demi-season coat made by Simplicity pattern 2311. There are few modifications of the pattern but this one attracted me the most because I like double-breasted coats and jackets and because of the collar – apache.
The coat is well-designed. Surprisingly I didn’t have to do any adjustments, I only lengthened the coat for 4 cm and thus become short of fabric so had to cut the sleeves on the bias:-) Although one-seamed sleeves are quite unusual for a coat they set well and look nice.
Generally, I’ve got the coat both classical and feminine and like the result very much:-)
The pattern was taken from Diana Modern 1/2011 (Russian edition) but I give the link to see the modifications.
Very dense wool coat cloth. Viscose for the lining.
