I was in Spotlight on my birthday (yay birthday discounts!) and they had all flannelette on sale for $4 a metre. I spotted this leopard print (no pun intended) and had to have new pyjamas. I hate pyjama tops, they always feel like they’re strangling me, so I only bought enough fabric for pyjama pants. I love hot pink and leopard print together, so I also got some hot pink ribbon to trim the legs and front waistband with.
Behold the excellent matching of the stripe in the pattern. It was totally deliberate. Yeah.
This was a really quick and easy project. I started cutting the fabric mid-afternoon, and they were finished (except for the trim) by bed time the same night.
Photos by pambox, as usual. They’re kind of blurry, it’s hard to balance on a bed for long enough to get clear shots.
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
