I made two pairs of these. Both pairs ended up being slightly more loose on me than the model pictured. With the first pair I made, I found the waist needed to be lowered for me and the crotch curve was…I guess too snug for me? The front of the crotch rode too close for comfort but a minor adjustment was all that was needed to correct this. The second pair I made turned out great and I get many compliments when I wear them. This is a great pattern that was easily altered to fit my body shape. I promise I will post pictures!

As gorgeous as this model is, I think the reason the crotch looks uncomfortable/taut is because the pants are just a little too stretched across the upper thighs and across the butt. You can see the stripes in the fabric pulled out of alignment.

Tailor make them for yourself and I’ll bet they look perfect.

Now as soon as I make it into Winter, I might consider making these myself ;)

I do appreciate a straight pants pattern, but the crotch is … I’m not sure how to describe… a bit too taut? A bit off? It limits the choice of fabric.

how do these pants fit on a short-legged, round-butt, little-waist body?
I’m always so weary of making pants. If I like the pants at a store but then put them on my body, they don’t always look the same. So how can I be sure a pattern works for me?

The top is from Etsy…which considering how many vendors Etsy has doesn’t say much. Can you tell me who on Etsy made this cute, cute top?
