My first garment for myself. I’m not convinced. I took it in at the hips but I still find the overall fit way too big and not flattering at all. I think I will alter it at some point. I still had fun sewing these pants. I’m particularly happy that they look as good on the inside as in the outside (french seams are the best!). Sorry for the pictures but the flash kept reflecting in the mirror :(
Done with pants for the time being. I’m moving on to skirts.

The fabric looks really good for this style. They do fit!! They look great for work. I must have a go at these but I am scared of trousers, skirts are much easier.

Thank you for your comments! MJB 14, I found the instructions quite clear, I should say. And the pattern is quite simple. No pockets, no lining. It’s really okay for a beginner.

Well done. These seem like a hard choice for your first creation for yourself. I am only learning too and way too scared to touch these for a while. Did you find them hard to make? I like your fabric choice, and I think that they look like they fit you well.
