Description
I do like print and fun fabric and even if this was a fabric for curtains I loved to make a jacket of it.. I have used pattern #112 Burda 7/2008 and its a 3/4 sleeves jacket, but I prefer longer sleeves, so maybe I should have consider that earlier.. The photos are taken in Singapore ;)

Ooh! I recognise the Botanic Gardens in your photo…I live near it :)) The newsprint is so fun for a jacket, and you’ve made it fit so well!

Oh, that’s nice! I love the trip we had to Singapore. Even if the trip was short we had a wonderful time:)
I’m working in my husbands company and we have delivered the first AutoStore automated warehouse system in Asia, so we attend the opening. You can have a look at the video;

Thank you very much for the nice comments ;-)

Great jacket Ellen! I always argue with salespersons when I want to buy curtain fabric to make a clothes :D But sometimes curtains just have so much nicer prints and colours. I love this project!

It is very nice and I’m sure that the fabric is very happy to be a jacket and travel around the world instead of becoming curtains:-) I like the newspaper print and I love the jacket, am going to make it, too (but next warm season:)). I like the idea to lengthen the sleeves. The outfit suits you and you look very stylish.
