This project, which includes a visual of the pattern I made, is for beginner sewers to create their own little recycled T shirt cap. The hat pictured is feminine but this could easily be used with dark fabrics (and no flower) for men and boys, too. This cap is not lined and should take about an hour to cut out and sew. For photo tutorial visit http://www.myjunkinspiredlife.blogspot.com.
I used one medium sized lady’s T shirt and scraps from another T shirt for the flowers. I recommend using 100% cotton fabric because cotton blends tend to stretch out of shape.

Thank you. This hat is just fun to make and not complicated – I’ve been sewing a long time but don’t like to get too technical…I find I sew more if I can keep my stress level down:)
