When I heard that tessuti had released a pattern called the ‘New York Cape’ I knew I had to have it before I’d even seen it. As expected, it is a wonderful pattern that was ridiculously fun playing with.
I made the cape using a lemon/butter yellow wool/cashmere blend with ridiculously big wooden buttons. I decided to line the hood and the cape and found a fantastic cotton with pictures of New York icons. Perfect!
This pattern took no time at all to put together, and is incredibly fun to wear.

Wow, this is as cute as a button, the bigger the button the better in my opinion. Definately a very flattering style on you. My daughter’s flying to Sydney tomorrow with her first stop Tessuti (armed with my shopping list of course!)
