New Years Minna - Trim Choices!

Soooo…. trying to decide on which trim to buy for my Minna. The body fabric will be a teal blue silk velvet, and the neckline is a darker blue charmuse. The wider sequins trim is $7.50 a yard and the narrow gold soutache trim is $3.50 a yard. I like both, but I’m leaning towards the sequins trim. Thoughts?

i like the sequins, the gold one has something that i don’t really like (don’t know what it is…. :P)

I kinda feel the same way…. it’s gorgeous, but it’s so bold. Oh well, I went with the sequins one! I know I made the right choice because it was easy enough to apply it on a curve and the gold one was not flexible enough.

the gold one. it’s new year and the blue one would be too shy for a big night out….also the blue one looks kind of average to me – the gold one is more special

Gold trim, more of a contrast. then again how heavy is it? will it distort the neckline at all?

I really love the graphic pop of the gold one, but I’m afraid it isn’t all that malleable. I think I’m going to go with the sequins.
