now I am not fond of sewing satin… but I saw this pattern and thought I could use it for my steampunk and to wear to church or whatever… I actually found the satin for $1 A YARD at my local craft store out of season since it is kind of a dark chocolate color… it appears puckered, but really I just need to iron it… since I do not have a serger I skipped the ruffles… also… I found the little tiny snaps for 7 cents a piece and since I had the thread and the pattern is free, this litterally cost my $2.50 to make- hubby liked that!
