Burda Style For people who sew

I had this velvet blazer for quite a few years. I liked it a lot, but over the years, rude jacket, reduced size. As it was still in a very good condition I just did not feel like giving it away. When I was looking around this site I got and idea how to re-do my beloved jacket. I made fur collar based on Fur Collar 08/2012 #103. I avoid ribbon but fasten collar to the jacket with magnetic buttons. Instead of button on the jacket I saw ribbon made from suede, and voila… this is my new-old blazer. In reality looks great and it really isnt obvious that it was up-cycled becouse it was too small :)
