This shirt is made out of an old skirt from the 90s given to me by friends and a silk scarf that I found laying in the puddle of mud in the park while dog walking months and months ago.
The pattern is New Look 6892, a 2 hour pattern, which of course took me 10 times that as usual.
The shirt is french seamed and neckline is bound with bias binding.
The hem is hemmed by hand – it took 2.5 episodes of Downton Abbey.
My daughter used to play with this skirt when she was little and now she can actually wear it – but I am not letting her keep it.
