Description

Found this amazing, thick 100% cotton denim in cornflower blue. It was exactly the shade my boyfriend had been looking for in jeans. Used an old worn-out pair of jeans as the pattern. They turned out exactly how we were hoping.
I can’t wait to make a skirt and a pair of shorts for myself!

Material Notes

2.5m heavy weight denim, thread, 16cm zipper, jeans rivet-type button

    Cool. I feel like making a pair of jeans is probably really difficult. How did you sew the side seams? Are they flat felled seams?

      Thanks!
      I was a bit worried, but it was actually way easier than i thought. I zigzagged around all the pattern pieces before sewing. than used flat felled seams.
