i’m so proud of this cover.my mother taught us all how to mend and make do, she was always darning socks and tights and took buttons of old shirts plus she’d unpick old jumpers for the wool. its rubbed of on us all. i have had this ironing board 26 years since buying it in germany. its a large size and i have never managed to get an excact fit cover for it until i made my own. i love the fabric and i have loads of it . its a gorgeous cotton and now i have a lovely cover that fits and best of all it dos’nt move. it was a pleasure ironing my new me made outfit on it .now what else can i make from this fabric lol. i made bathroom curtains and a shower curtain from it in the past . toffee was very impressed with it as well . it’s a simple project but i love it x
