I had the idea to make a pickup skirt, just as an attempt at something other than lingerie (I’ll be posting some of those projects very soon). I had a massive amount of a red satin blend from a Betty Boop Halloween costume, so I figured it’d be a worthy try. The pickups in the skirt are assymetrical, so it’s longer in the back, and there is a huge bow on the back, covering a hidden zipper. It is, in my opinion, what our favorite Miss Mouse would wear these days -
Red satin blend, black cotton waist band.

Hilarious picture with the Minnie ears. I think the skirt is something a cool Minnie would wear but in of itself the skirt is not cartoonish. I like it very much. Its very young and hip.
