Description

I made this small baby quilt for a first try of continous-line loop quilting. It realy takes time to master it, but it’s definetely worth it! Advice for anyone who would like to try quilting: have a glass of wine before starting, you will relax and lines will turn out smoother!
It seems that this quilt have become our cats favorite one :)

It is a great job! It was my actual dream to make quilts but after the very first try many years ago I gave up but never stop admiring and oooohing when seeing such works. Just perfect – the fabrics matched with great taste, the work is so neat. And I understand your cat very well, indeed, if I were it, I would occupied the quilt without any chance for anybody else to use it :-)))

Thanks Oksana! :) I hope you will try one day to make a quilt again, after all the work this ‘oooh’ is so rewarding ;)

I actually cut one of my holiday dresses wrong because of my little cat toffee. She was pulling at the fabric and after i had cut the front the rest went on the floor!! I cut one piece at a time to try and maximise waste. Well when i lifted it back up i never checked selvages and placed pinned and cut my back out!! Vertically instead of horizontly The dress i was making had to be radicially altered but i love the outcome x
