This is my first quilt. It’s a baby sized quilt out of green flannel and brown fuzzy fabric. I made it for my soon-to-be-born nephew. I pieced the blocks together, then pinned with batting and cotton backing. Machine quilted in straight lines on either side of the seams. Green cotton binding edged with brown rick-rack.

Thank you! Smaller is less scary. Good luck on yours, too.

Cute. I just started on my first quilt. It is a baby quilt for a friend. Smaller just seems less scary. I am thinking about hand quilting but she is already 2 months old. I need to get it done while she is still a baby. I hope your new nephew likes it when he gets here. Congrats!
