Coat from Simplicity 2172. It is made from a pair of silk blend curtain panels, and I added silk velvet cuffs, and a double collar. I also made the hat. The hat fabric started life as a wooll challis skirt in a peacock pattern. I hope to post pictures of it later. The rest of the outift all came from the thrift shop. Also posting a pic of my hubby -his outfit also mostly thrifted! I made him a leather gauntlet, and he made embellishments for it, as well as his hat. So much fun dressing in Steampunk, that I am planning to continue working on adding more pieces to the outfit that I make myself.
