Havlickuv Brod, ...
Nowadays, I spend most of my time wearing jeans and a t-shirt (changing the t-shirt several times a day after my baby spills food, slobbers etc.). But I needed something for a conference I was invited for, so I made this project.
The blouse is made of white poplin. The pattern comes from a Burda magazine and no alterations were made. The skirt pattern is taken from a Burda Easy Fashion magazine but I made the skirt shorter and added a petticoat with a pleated ruffle and a waistband. The upper skirt is draped on the right side seam (and hand-sewn, but I plan to add snaps that would enable me to wear it either draped, or smooth).
Blouse – white cotton poplin with 3 % elastan
Skirt – plaid cotton blend, cotton satin for the petticoat
