oh, I just remembered I alternated between 4.5mm meedles and 9mm! hahaha just to make this even more elusive ;)

wow, thanks everyone! I actually don’t have a pattern, this was my first knitting project last fall and I was figuring out how to knit and purl alternate rows. I did not make an actual buttonhole opening, you can sort of wiggle buttons through knits that are somewhat loose. All I can give you for tips is that I used 4.5mm needles and silky flame alpaca wool :) And visited the site knittinghelp.com ALOT!
