I saw the rostitchery infinity dress and really liked it – but I’m not a fan of the circle skirt, and I also had some asian material I really wanted to make something with. So I got brave and started sewing! I did not really follow the pattern or the how-to on this site, but they gave me lots of info on how it is supposed to go together. I made the straps shorter and bulkier to suit the material I had, and the skirt more a-line, and the waistband/bodice longer to hide my fat! I’m pleased with how it turned out – it is my second time trying to make clothes.
silky material for the straps, stretchy shiney material for the rest

I ADORE this! Thanks for the super cute dress – I have so much inspiration for my own infinity dress now!! (Whenever I get around to getting it done!) And it looks so great on you – especially tied in the front!!

This dress is so flattering with the A-line skirt, especially with that wonderful sash tied in the front. You have such enthusiasm and creativity already!

Lovely dress, especially for just the second time sewing clothes. I’m quite impressed and prefer the a-line to the circle skirt as well.

Very cute! This is the dress I would wear, unlike the circle skirt of the original infinity dress – circle skirt isn’t flattering on my body.
