Top half size 12 and bottom half size 14
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, particularly as this was my second go at the pattern. Very quick and much easier second time around!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Love the shape, a flattering design. Last time I included the cap sleeves, and this time tried a sleeveless version for a summer wedding, and really pleased with the result. There are so many more versions of this you could make, without them looking like they have come from the same pattern, the possibilities are endless!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Last time I made a size 14 all over but this time scaled down the bodice to a 12 which worked much better and didn’t have to make adjustments to the back. If I made it again I could still take a little off the shoulders, but a pretty good fit all over.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Definately and definately.
Conclusion:
Love the pattern, and have two very wearable dresses out of it in three months!
Material Notes
Fabric Used: A fairly heavy cotton with one way stretch, from brilliant (UK) e-bay shop favouritefabrics.

I’ve also made this dress (see my studio), really love yours very much! Personally I had problems making it fit, but maybe I should also try different sizes for top and bottom half….Anyhoo…great job!
